Our 5th-grade students had a wonderful opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about coral restoration and the art of underwater photography. They actively participated in a coral simulation restoration practice, learning about the importance of protecting coral reefs and the techniques involved in the restoration process. Additionally, they took part in a workshop where they learned about constructing underwater lenses, exploring the world of underwater photography. They grasped the principles of light refraction and lens structure, and happily captured images through their homemade underwater lenses. This activity provided our students with a marvelous chance to learn, engage, and develop a deeper appreciation for marine conservation and the beauty of the ocean.
