M+
M+, located in the West Kowloon Cultural District, is Asia's first global museum of contemporary visual culture. The M+ collection is a cross-disciplinary visual culture, covering design and architecture, moving images and visual arts. The works come from Hong Kong, mainland China, other parts of Asia and the world. It is also the world's richest collection of Chinese contemporary art, consisting of 1,510 works. The works are composed by 324 artists, recording the styles, themes and related developments of Chinese art in the 40 years from 1972 to 2012.

 

Hong Kong Palace Museum
The Hong Kong Palace Museum is located in the West Kowloon Cultural District. It aims to promote the public's research and appreciation of Chinese art and culture. It uses new curatorial techniques to display more than 900 precious cultural relics from the Palace Museum. Most of the treasures have been updated. This is the first public appearance in Hong Kong. The museum is equipped with the Forbidden City School, multimedia facilities, interactive installations and dining and leisure spaces, bringing you a unique cultural experience.

 

Hong Kong Museum of Art
The Hong Kong Museum of Art is located in Tsim Sha Tsui. Founded in 1962, it is Hong Kong's first public art museum. It protects more than 19,500 sets of art treasures, reflecting Hong Kong's cultural pedigree and heritage as an international city. In terms of curation, we compare ancient and modern, Chinese and Western, local and even international art to interpret the diverse art world. Hong Kong Heritage Museum

Koshan Theater
Ko Shan Theater is located in Hung Hom. It was completed and opened in 1983. It has 3,000 seats. It is a dedicated venue for Cantonese opera. The Hong Kong Film Archive is located in Sai Wan Ho and houses a small cinema, exhibition hall, resource center, collection warehouse and restoration studio. The collection mainly comes from donations from the industry and the public, allowing the public to understand Hong Kong film, history and culture. The cinema regularly holds film screenings, exhibitions, symposiums and other activities, and publishes special books.



Hong Kong Visual Arts Center
The Hong Kong Vision Center is located in the central half of Hong Kong Island. It was renovated from the former British military barracks "Castle House". The exterior walls are made of red bricks and painted with stucco. The east and west sides were originally open arched colonnades in the Edwardian classical revival style. It is now a Grade I historic building. The Art Center is an open, multi-directional art space that focuses on art learning and exchange. Hong Kong University Art Museum
The University of Hong Kong Art Museum is located in Pok Fu Lam. It was originally called the Fung Ping Shan Museum. The museum collects many Chinese cultural relics and works of art, with ceramics attracting the most attention, including: Blue and white three-legged water basins of the Tang Dynasty; porcelain from the Ding Kiln and Cizhou Kiln of the Song Dynasty; monochrome glaze and colored porcelain from the Ming and Qing dynasties; bronze ritual vessels from the Shang Dynasty and the Western Zhou Dynasty; bronze mirrors from the Eastern Zhou Dynasty to the Song Dynasty; Nestorian cross bronze medals from the Yuan Dynasty The collection is the largest in the world. The Jockey Club Creative Arts Center is located in Shek Kip Mei.
